Ok here's an eye opener, mascara does NOT have to be pricey to, well, open your eyes! For those who, like me, have naturally short lashes, this top 5 list will help you achieve long and volumized lashes. Long lashes have always been the "it" thing and will continue to be. All over the new fall fashion magazines are models with gorgeous long lashes. Celebrities of course, are no exception either! I am here to show you the mascara's that will give you the same beautiful look.



1. Rimmel Lash Accelerator

This mascara is amazing! It is a double threat! Not only does it give your lashes length, but it also has a lash growing complex. This is essential to those without the long eye lash gene!



2.  Loreal Volumious Million Lashes

If you have seen the ads with Eva Longoria promoting this mascara then you know how gorgeous this mascara looks. The wand is amazing and so easy to apply. It fills in gaps in your lashes, while plumping up volume big time.




3. Maybelline XXL Pro Lash Extension

This mascara is very unique, it has two wands. The wand labeled 1 is what you apply first to lashes as a base coat. Inside that tube is a white liquid that on your lashes attaches fibers. Don't worry, the white will disappear when the nest step happens! The other tube labeled 2 is what you finish with. This is the final step and creates long, luscious lashes. XXL pro has very long wearability which we all know is very important for those long days  nights ( ;




4. Clinique Lash Doubling Mascara

The final two were almost a tie! This mascara is AH-MAZING! It is very wet, so be careful when applying. If you looking for serious length, go with this one! It also thickens eye lashes as well.





5.  Maybelline Falsies

This mascara is gift from the heavens! When applied with its curved wand, it is almost like having false lashes on, or expensive las extensions in. I am not lying when I say you only need one swipe! They just came out with an alternate version called Falsies Flared, so you will have to check that one out as well. You can not beat the price on this one!




                                            TIPS for applying any of these:
-If any smudges occur, just have a cotton swab ready. It will take off any excess spots!
-Black is the most popular color for mascara, but an awesome idea is to try a brown one! It can really bring your eye color out!
-When curling you lashes with a curler, make sure to curl lashes at the base of them!
